RAÍZ

hospitality interior

A hospitality interior concept rooted in the materiality of Mexican vernacular architecture. The design draws from pre-Hispanic building traditions — raw earth, textured clay, woven textiles — reinterpreted through a contemporary spatial lens to create a dining environment that feels both grounded and refined.

The spatial layout prioritizes the rhythm of the dining experience: a compressed entry that opens into a warm, layered interior, with material transitions guiding movement through the space. Terra cotta, exposed concrete, and hand-finished surfaces define the palette, while lighting strategy reinforces intimacy at the table scale.

Raíz is a study in cultural memory expressed through built form — where every material choice carries meaning.
